Florida State football has still not secured any wide receiver prospects in its 2025 recruiting class. During the 2024 cycle, wide receivers coach Ron Dugans obtained four talented pieces in Camdon Frier, BJ Gibson, Lawayne McCoy, and Elijah Moore.

These four recruits will be foundational pieces for the Seminoles' offense for years to come. However, the position is boom-or-bust and the coaching staff has to continue to acquire more playmakers for the offense. You can never have too many wide receivers. If the position room is loaded, you let the players settle on who deserves to be on the football field.

Overall, it will be a daunting task to replace the likes of Keon Coleman and Johnny Wilson as they navigate to the NFL. However, the Seminoles are in a good position with two wide receiver prospects that have seen updates in their recruitments. This could be positive news for the program looking to build around four-star quarterback commit Tramell Jones Jr.
