FIVE-STAR DE ZION GRADY

Florida State fans understand the importance of having high-caliber pass rushers on the defensive side of the football such as Jermaine Johnson II, Keir Thomas, and Jared Verse.

The Seminoles added talented defensive ends via the transfer portal this offseason like Marvin Jones Jr., Tomiwa Durojaiye, and Sione Lolohea. However, Florida State needs to accumulate depth at the position. As a wise man once said: "You can never have enough pass rushers".

Florida State secured two defensive ends in the 2024 recruiting cycle with four-star DD Holmes and four-star Amaree Williams. However, the coaching staff missed out on prospects such as five-star LJ McCray and four-star Armondo Blount to their arch-rivals.

The Seminoles have tended to lose out on pass rushers within the past few recruiting cycles. This could be exactly what Florida State needs if they can secure five-star defensive end Zion Grady from Enterprise (AL) who recently de-committed from Alabama. Grady has recently visited Tallahassee and showcased mutual interest in the program.
