Tickets are now on sale to the public for the Noles' 2024 season opener versus GT
FSU football will be taking on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in the 2024 season opener on August 24th. What makes this contest so special is that it will be played at Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland.
This will certainly be a unique experience that many Seminole fans will be excited about as individuals will have the chance to venture outside of the states to watch a college football game. This will be a wonderful opportunity for the university's brand to reach new heights.
As it relates to ticket sales, the Seminole Booster priority sales have already concluded. However, on Monday afternoon, the Florida State ticket office released the link for the public for the contest. Tickets are now available on a first-come, first-served basis. These tickets will be in the upper-level section of Aviva Stadium and will be $245 each.
Georgia Tech is a formidable opponent to face off against in Ireland. The Yellow Jackets finished the 2023 campaign with a 7-6 overall record (take a knee Miami...) and a 5-3 record in conference. Overall, the Seminoles cannot afford to sleepwalk through this opponent if they want to maintain their long-term sustainability as a program.
Florida State brought in fifteen transfers this offseason. While the 2023 season was a special year for the Seminoles, they are now having to turn the page. With all of the new faces, it could take a bit of time for them to gel together. Unfortunately, the Yellow Jackets are well-coached under the direction of head football coach Brent Key.
Head football coach Mike Norvell will be heading into his fifth season in Tallahassee. The program has progressively gotten better as he has turned the program into something that competes for championships. The Seminoles have combined to have a 23-4 record over the past two seasons.
