Three takeaways from the ACC getting to release the Noles' 2024 football schedule

NORTH CAROLINA FIRST WEEK OF OCTOBER?

Florida State has not played North Carolina since October 17, 2020, when first-year head football coach Mike Norvell defeated the Tarheels by a score of 31-28 to get his first signature victory of his Seminoles' tenure

Disclaimer, I do not think any fans will be getting Norvell in cornrows tattooed on their bodies this time around.

However, this is still an excellent program under head football coach Mack Brown, who still struggles to beat the Seminoles. The Tarheels will no longer have quarterback Drake Maye as he departs for the NFL. However, Florida State also has their fair share of talent to replace.

The Tarheels have an easier slate in the beginning of the 2024 season where they play Minnesota, Charlotte, North Carolina Central, and James Madison. However, I believe the trek gets more difficult for them as they could be traveling to Tallahassee for the first week of October.

While it would be difficult to play Clemson in late September and then face off against North Carolina a few weeks later, this Tarheels team will have to replace quite a bit of talent.
