FOUR-STAR DE ZION GRADY

As we previously stated, Florida State has secured one defensive end prospect in their 2025 recruiting cycle with four-star Javion Hilson from Cocoa, Florida. Fans know that current defensive ends such as Patrick Payton and Marvin Jones Jr. are talented pieces, but they could be moving on to the NFL after this season.

You can never have too many pass rushers in a defense. While I realize that fans criticize the recruiting efforts of defensive ends coach John Papuchis, he does make his presence known with his success of the transfer portal.

One target to monitor this weekend is four-star defensive end Zion Grady from Enterprise, Alabama. He was a prospect that was impacted by Nick Saban retired as he backed off his pledge from the Crimson Tide.

Individuals such as On3's Steve Wiltfong feel like the Seminoles have a slight lead for Grady after arch-rival Miami Hurricanes initially took the lead. He does have official visits remaining with Auburn and Ohio State. The Georgia Bulldogs could get involved too.
