Florida State fans realize the significance of signal caller Jordan Travis had on this football team. If you don't believe it, let's point to the committee's reasoning behind why the Seminoles did not make the playoff.

It was a heartbreaking moment when Travis went down with a season-ending injury versus North Alabama on Senior Night. However, fans knew at some point that there would have to be life after Jordan Travis. He couldn't be at Florida State forever.

The coaching staff knew that they had two talented scholarship options on the roster in Brock Glenn and Luke Kromenhoek. However, they needed a veteran to bridge the gap for the young quarterbacks. As a result, it was in the best interest to bring in DJ Uiagalelei.

Uiagalelei has had an up-and-down collegiate career filled with highs and lows during his time with Clemson as well as Oregon State. However, the veteran excels in pushing the football downfield, commanding the offense, and getting the football out quickly to his playmakers.

It will be beneficial for the Seminoles if Uiagalelei has a solid campaign in 2024.
