Three highly-touted 2025 recruits lock in official visits with the Noles in the summer
FOUR-STAR LB TY JACKSON
I have discussed the importance of grabbing more linebacker prospects this recruiting cycle. While I understand that linebackers are not as vital in a defense as they used to be especially considering that defensive coordinator Adam Fuller utilizes a 4-2-5 defensive scheme.
The linebackers in the scheme would need to be effective run-stoppers. As it pertains to targets, one prospect to monitor is four-star Ty Jackson from Seminole Ridge High School in Loxahatchee, Florida. According to a report from On3's Chad Simmons, Jackson will be officially visiting Florida State from June 14-16.
The talented linebacker has expressed mutual interest in the program where he visited the LSU season-opening game on September 3rd and the home game versus the arch-rival Miami Hurricanes on November 11th.
There is stiff competition filled with teams such as Penn State, Georgia, and Tennessee. However, he does help the coaching staff that the program has continued to heavily pursue Jackson as he has visited the university the most out of any of the schools. This could be something worth watching for if the official visit goes well.
