FOUR-STAR DL JALEN WIGGINS (UF COMMIT)
Recruiting starts with keeping the talented prospects that are located in or around the Tallahassee area at home with Florida State. Unfortunately, there have been too many occurrences when homegrown products have left for other universities.
One notable prospect in the 2025 recruiting class is four-star defensive lineman Jalen Wiggins from James Rickards High School in Tallahassee, Florida. Wiggins is currently committed to the arch-rival Florida Gators, which is a bit worrisome given that he pledged to them with how the two programs have performed over the past two seasons.
Overall, even with the Gators' commitment, Florida State has given themselves a realistic chance in this recruitment. According to a report from 247Sports' Tom Loy, Wiggins has scheduled an official visit with the Seminoles for June 21-23.

He'll be at #Stanford, #Florida and #FloridaState.
Can the Seminoles or Cardinal flip him from the Gators?

It is encouraging to see that he scheduled his official visit after the Gators. Florida State can make a lasting impression on the prospect. Since he is so close to the campus, Wiggins will be able to make multiple trips. This is a defensive lineman that the Seminoles cannot afford to miss on.
