Recruits wearing the Seminoles' N7 turquoise jerseys during their official visits
Florida State football is hosting several prospects on campus this weekend for official visits. The Seminoles certainly need the momentum since they have not secured a commitment since January when four-star defensive end Javion Hilson flipped his pledge from Alabama to Florida State.
The Seminoles are currently ranked number 70 in the 2025 247Sports Composite rankings. That is not the standard that Florida State fans want to have in the program. However, it is noteworthy that the Seminoles are trending for several prospects that could make their intentions known soon.
It seems like the recruits had a blast wearing the new N7 turquoise jerseys that should be worn during the 2024 season for Florida State. While I am a traditionalist when it comes to uniforms where I believe that the garnet and gold combination is the best in all of college football (I feel like an old man), I respect the fact that recruits love to wear them.
On social media, four-star wide receiver Vernell "Trey" Brown III from Jones High School in Orlando, Florida posted a video of the offensive visitors lining up in formation with the turquoise jerseys on.
I cannot wait for the social media team to release these visit pictures because I believe they are unique in how prospects can envision themselves in the offense with the new jerseys on.
Here are two other highly-touted prospects wearing them.
Even though four-star quarterback commit Tramell Jones Jr. has been flirting with the arch-rival Florida Gators lately, I cannot help but think how great it would be for the Seminoles to hang on to his commitment.
Four-star defensive back target Gregory "Zae" Thomas might be the worst-kept secret when it comes to silent commits. The American Heritage High School standout has several crystal ball predictions in favor of Florida State and will be decided on June 30th between the Seminoles and Clemson Tigers.
Overall, I know it isn't everyone's cup of tea with the turquoise N7 jerseys. However, it is great that Florida State is getting highly-touted recruits to wear them.
