Florida State football recruiting for the 2025 cycle has been a little bit slow thus far. However, fans can expect it to start heating up with several highly-touted prospects coming to Tallahassee. The Seminoles currently rank outside the top-40 which is certainly not the norm for such a proud program.

However, individuals have to remember that it is only June and the Early Signing Period is still six months away. As of right now, Florida State has four commitments in their 2025 class with five-star offensive lineman Solomon Thomas, four-star Tramell Jones Jr., four-star defensive end Javion Hilson, and four-star linebacker Ethan Pritchard.

The Seminoles have not secured a prospect in the fold since Hilson flipped his pledge from Alabama to Florida State in January. The program's fan base is starving for success. Be sure to check out this article that I wrote which highlights some prospects that I believe the Seminoles lead for.

Overall, the Seminoles will have many prospects coming in during June to experience the program. More specifically, the weekend of June 21st is supposed to be massive where there will be over 20+ official visitors.

However, before we get to the weekend of June 21st, the coaching staff will still be hosting other recruits on campus. There is only one prospect who is currently on an official visit this weekend in four-star cornerback Onis Konanbanny from Heathwood Hall Episcopal School in Columbia, South Carolina.

While I am not necessarily saying that Konanbanny is a top target for the Seminoles at the defensive back position, it is always great for the coaching staff to develop relationships with the talented prospect. On his Instagram account, the South Carolina native posted that he conducted a FaceTime call with former Florida State defensive back Jalen Ramsey.

It is cool to see Ramsey still putting his recruiting hat on for the program. The Seminoles have a combined 23-4 record in the past two seasons. That sustainability attracts big-time players. I believe that former players are believing in the vision that head football coach Mike Norvell has displayed.

I also feel like Florida State could have something special in place with several prospects visiting on the weekend of June 21st. I cannot wait to see what the coaching staff has up their sleeve.
