Q&A with four-star defensive back commit Darryl "Tre" Bell III
Florida State football will be conducting its 2024 Garnet and Gold Spring Showcase on Saturday, April 20th at 4:00 PM EST in Doak Campbell Stadium. On Monday, Class of 2026 four-star safety commit Darryl "Tre" Bell III from Barbara Goleman Senior High School in Miami, Florida announced that he will be in Tallahassee this weekend for the spring game.
We at ChopChat decided to conduct a Q&A with the talented defensive back.
Q: I know that you are going to Florida State's spring game this Saturday, what are some things that you will be monitoring during your visit?
A: "I will be monitoring the way that the coaches will be rotating players in and out of the game."
Q: As the spring game gets played, what will you be watching for?
A: "I will be looking for the energy on the defensive side of the ball."
Q: Now that you have been committed to Florida State for a while, how does it feel being part of the program? Is there anyone that you are recruiting to the Seminoles?
A: "It feels great to be a part of a winning program, i am looking forward to playing on the same field as them one day."
Q: What is the coaching staff's vision for you as a player? Where do they want you to play?
A: "As of now, Coach (Randy) Shannon and the staff have recruited me to play the nickel/strong safety position because of my great aggression and awareness of where the ball is."
Q: Do you have any final thoughts that you want to say to Nole Nation?
A: "I'm looking forward to seeing what the FSU staff have planned for this weekend's spring game! Go Noles!"
