Q&A with Florida State 4-star safety commit Darryl "Tre" Bell
Florida State has already secured a legendary recruiting class in the 2026 cycle with a couple of commitments from some highly-touted prospects such as five-star quarterback Brady Smigiel, four-star wide receiver Darryon Williams, four-star wide receiver Efrem White, four-star safety Darryl Bell, and three-star safety Tedarius Hughes.
The recruiting class ranks second-best in the country according to the 2026 247Sports Composite rankings. While I realize that fans are more concerned about the 2025 recruiting class now, it is still great to see the Seminoles succeeding on the recruiting trail.
We at ChopChat conducted a Q&A with the four-star safety commit Darryl "Tre" Bell from Barbara Goleman High School in Hialeah, Florida.
Q: How was your recent visit to Florida State? Did anything stand out to you?
A: "The most recent visit was amazing, I loved the atmosphere and hospitality as always."
Q: Do you have any games this season at Florida State that you want to go to this season?
A: "Yes, I will be going to a game in September. I don't know which one yet but I know FSU is going to always put on a show."

A: "The relationship with Coach Pat is getting stronger and stronger knowing that will be my coach in the future."

A: "Three things that I'll be focusing on this year are staying healthy, performing at 100%, and making history at Barbara Goleman."
