Q&A with Class of 2025 four-star LB commit Ethan Pritchard
FSU football has the fourteenth-best recruiting class in the 2025 cycle. Four-star linebacker Ethan Pritchard from Seminole High School in Sanford, Florida is a notable commitment in the class. We at ChopChat decided to conduct a Q&A with the talented prospect.
Q: What was it like getting a visit from Coach Norvell and Coach Johnson recently?
A: "It's always good when the coach comes around. It is always great vibes and the relationship between us just gets better and better every time."
Q: How did it feel when you decided to commit to Florida State? What stood out to you most about the Seminoles?
A: "It was really just a feeling that I couldn't explain when I committed to my hometown team. What stood out the most was the coaching staff and the atmosphere in Doak Campbell."
Q: How has your relationship been like with linebackers coach Randy Shannon? Any other staff members that you connect well with?
A: "I like Coach Shannon because he keeps it 100 no matter what ever since I met him, and he is a great leader."
Q: I know that you will be in town this weekend for a visit. What are you most excited about?
A: "I am most excited about just getting back in town for the culture and building more and more relationships with the coaches."
Q: When you are pitching other recruits to come to Florida State, what is your main message to them?
A: "My message is Coach Norvell is building something special so why not be a part of it."
Q: Do you have any parting thoughts that you want to express to the fanbase?
A: "For the fans, it is FSU all day. We are locked in."
