FOUR-STAR RB BYRON LOUIS

Florida State does not have a running back prospect committed to its 2025 recruiting class. However, as we know, the foundation of the Seminoles' offense is to effectively run the football.

Head football coach Mike Norvell and offensive coordinator Alex Atkins believe that when the team is efficiently establishing the run then the passing game becomes easier. The Seminoles have a stable of backs this season for its roster in Roydell Williams, Lawrance Toafili, Caziah Holmes, Jaylin Lucas, Samuel Singleton Jr., Kameron Davis, and Micahi Danzy.

However, running backs coach David Johnson will have his work cut out for him as players such as Williams, Toafili, and Holmes will graduate after this season. It will be difficult to replace the trio, but the Seminoles need to continue acquiring talented pieces via the recruiting trail.

As we mentioned before, defensive backs coach Patrick Surtain Sr. has been phenomenal on the recruiting front as well as on the field. Surtain Sr. was a former head football coach at American Heritage High School.

One prospect to monitor is four-star running back Byron Louis from American Heritage High School. The talented back has a great relationship with Surtain Sr. He will officially visit Florida State on the weekend of June 21st. On3's Steve Wiltfong has put in an expert prediction in favor of the program for Louis. It is time for the Seminoles to close the deal here.
