Synopsis: Florida State defensive backs coach Patrick Surtain Sr. has asserted his dominance on the recruiting trail during his time with the Seminoles where they secured the signings of Charles Lester III, Jamari Howard, Cai Bates, and Ricky Knight III during the 2024 recruiting cycle. One prospect that is worth noting for the 2025 cycle is three-star safety Max Redmon from Cardinal Newman High School in West Palm Beach, Florida where he will be choosing between Florida State, USF, and Illinois. If he is a take for the coaching staff, I think he will pick the Seminoles.

Synopsis: Florida State has already got one five-star offensive lineman prospect committed to their 2025 recruiting in five-star Solomon Thomas from Raines High School in Jacksonville, Florida. The Seminoles have their sights set on another five-star prospect with offensive tackle Josh Petty from Fellowship Christian School in Roswell, Georgia. Petty has raved about the Seminoles and has received many predictions in favor of Florida State. Plus, it helps that his sister is going to school in Tallahassee. While August 12th (his birthday) is a long way away, I think the Seminoles lead for the highly-touted prospect.
