Florida State football has already added 38 scholarship newcomers to the roster. Head football coach Mike Norvell has made his presence known in the transfer portal with players such as defensive end Marvin Jones Jr. (Georgia), quarterback DJ Uiaglelei (Oregon State), and cornerback Earl Little Jr. (Alabama).

Norvell has been regarded as the "Transfer Portal King" where a portion of the fanbase thinks that the coaching staff are only great at acquiring talent in the transfer portal. While it is beneficial to add veterans to solidify depth at certain positions, the coaching staff understands that they have to have a mix of veterans as well as highly-touted high school prospects to develop.

The spring transfer portal window starts today. I would advise fans to be mindful that there will be players from the Seminoles' roster that will enter the transfer portal since Florida State is over the 85-man scholarship limit. We at ChopChat do not wish to discuss about potential departures from the program.

However, in this article, I want to go over three positions that the Seminoles need to pursue in the transfer portal.
