RB/KR JAYLIN LUCAS

Head football coach Mike Norvell explained the importance of the emphasis on special teams in his introductory press conference. He values that aspect of the game as well as the buy-in for players who take on the opportunities.

Think about players such as Mycah Pittman Jr. and Keon Coleman who had direct impacts on punt returns. Then you had kickoff returns such as Trey Benson from the Boston College game in 2022 and Deuce Spann from the Duke game in 2023.

Indiana running back/kickoff returner Jaylin Lucas was added this offseason. While he isn't your traditional back who will get 25+ carries per game, Lucas will be a player who will be used all over the field.

Lucas has a 95 speed rating so fans will have fun controlling the Seminoles' offense. They better not kick it to him on the kickoff or I will be sure to take it to the crib.
