FOUR-STAR RB BYRON LOUIS

Florida State football has its foot in the door with American Heritage High School since defensive backs coach Patrick Surtain Sr. used to be the head football coach over there.

The connections that he has developed have paid dividends for the program as they look to capitalize on the trail. Florida State has not secured a running back prospect during the 2025 recruiting cycle. However, that could change soon.

I realize that it was disappointing that four-star target Alvin Henderson committed to Penn State. However, the Seminoles seem to have their eyes set on another talented back. One prospect to monitor is four-star running back Byron Louis.

The back is officially visiting Florida State on the massive June 21st weekend where all of the commitments will be there. While running back isn't necessarily a huge need, the Seminoles will have to replace the likes of Roydell Williams and Lawrance Toafili after this season.
