Florida State football is currently ranked as the 33rd-best recruiting class according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. The coaching staff does have four prospects committed to the fold.

With that being said, there has not been a pledge to the Seminoles since four-star defensive end Javion Hilson de-committed from the Alabama Crimson Tide and flipped to Florida State after legendary head football coach Nick Saban retired.

However, the fan base was concerned with the fact that there had been only four commitments in the class while arch-rival Florida and Miami have seen success on the trail. Keep in mind that the Seminoles have defeated both programs for the past two seasons.

The coaching staff could start having recruiting momentum after several highly-touted prospects attended the Seminoles' Spring Showcase on Saturday.

On Monday, On3's Steve Wiltfong dropped expert predictions in favor of the Seminoles such as four-star running back Byron Louis, four-star interior offensive lineman Peyton Joseph, four-star cornerback Gregory Thomas, and four-star cornerback Jaelen Waters (2026).
