Florida State athletics has already had a sensational season against the Miami Hurricanes where they have consistently had their number as of late. Our very own Kelvin Hunt wrote about the Seminoles' baseball program getting another monumental victory over the Hurricanes on Friday night as they look to close the series out in a sweep on Saturday.

Fans understand how difficult Hurricane fans can be on social media when they are discussing their squad when the fact of the matter is that the Seminoles reign supreme in the rivalry series. This begs the question: Should we even classify it as a "rivalry" when Florida State continues to dominate in every sport?

I realize that this is serving as ammunition for Hurricane fans to clap back as their football team will be playing Florida State in Hard Rock Stadium (the only time that the stadium will be at full capacity during the 2024 season) on October 26th. Their football team will be led by the very talented signal caller Cameron Ward, who transferred in from the Washington State Cougars this offseason.

While some of the opposing fan base claims the "35-32" series advantage that the Hurricanes have all-time in football, Florida State has defeated them three years in a row. The Seminoles' men's basketball program is 14-2 in their last 16 meetings while the women's basketball program defeated Miami in both meetings during the 2023 season.

Miami better be lucky that they don't have a softball program either because that would result in some defeats as well. However, the program's fan base will continue to run its mouth even it was without a victory and claim that it will be better next season.

All in all, it is all love in the Seminoles' rivalry with the Miami Hurricanes. It is great to witness the fact that Florida State continues to perform its best in all sports against the arch-rival Hurricanes.
