OG RICHIE LEONARD IV

Atkins was not done securing talent via the transfer portal when he picked up Alabama's Terrence Ferguson. Those two offensive guard of Roddick and Emmanuel were pivotal to the Seminoles' success in being able to effectively run the football.

The Seminoles will want to get back to their bread and butter of running the football more efficiently where they utilize counter runs of the pulling offensive guards. It helps to have two experienced offensive guards that know what they are doing.

The coaching staff seems comfortable with allowing do-it-all Darius Washington to play at left tackle (as indicated in the Spring Showcase). This move was done partially because they like the development as their newest transfer pickup, offensive guard Richie Leonard IV from the arch-rival Florida Gators.

There was not much to like about that Gators' team from the 2023 season. However, Leonard IV was a consistent piece in their rotation that held his own. With him and Ferguson being over 300+ pounds, it should allow Florida State to control the line of scrimmage.
