TB JAYLIN LUCAS

To be honest, I did not know where to place ultra-talented athlete Jaylin Lucas in the offense. He will be playing anywhere and everywhere. You could see him line up as a running back, tail back, slot wide receiver, outside wide receiver, kickoff returner, punt returner, Wildcat quarterback, and (heck) even offensive lineman at this point.

Lucas is the brother of current wide receiver JaKhi Douglas. Florida State recruited him out of high school but the pursuit was not as strong so Lucas ultimately decided to commit to Indiana. During his time with the Hoosiers, he had three special teams touchdowns.

His blazing speed was on display at the Spring Showcase. The coaching staff is fully transparent with how they want to use him. It feels like they wanted to add as much speed as humanly possible. Well, don't worry because if fans blink when Lucas has the football, the Marching Chiefs might already be playing the fight song.

It has been a while since the Seminoles have had someone as dynamic as Lucas in the open field.
