RB ROYDELL WILLIAMS

Florida State is having to replace the likes of ultra-talented running back Trey Benson, who was so pivotal to the team's success. Benson accumulated over 1,800+ rushing yards and 23 touchdowns during his two-year playing career with the Seminoles.

The former Oregon transfer was selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the 2024 NFL Draft. Florida State is one of those institutions that has to get used to rebuilding and retooling their roster after NFL departures.

Norvell spent the majority of his time during the offseason securing Alabama Crimson Tide transfers (more on that later). One notable piece was running back Roydell Williams. The redshirt senior had over 500 rushing yards last season for Nick Saban and company.

While it is a crowded backfield with players such as Lawrance Toafili, Caziah Holmes, and Kameron Davis, I believe that the Alabama transfer can make a name for himself in 2024 as a physical runner with a quick burst if given the opportunity.
