Florida State head football coach Mike Norvell has done a really good job of evaluating talent in the transfer portal. When discussing success in the portal, individuals typically think of head coaches such as Mike Norvell and Lane Kiffin.

The Seminoles have made the program a transfer portal destination. Florida State accomplished an undefeated regular season and a conference championship during the 2023 season. Fans are having to say goodbye to several heavy contributors such as quarterback Jordan Travis, defensive end Jared Verse, and defensive tackle Braden Fiske.

That is the nature of college football nowadays when the transfer portal plays such a pivotal part in today's game. The Seminoles should not be upset as they have reaped the benefits of several transfers where they have a combined 23-4 record over the past two seasons.
