DE SIONE LOLOHEA

Former Oregon State defensive end Sione Lolohea was a forgotten piece in terms of transfer portal acquisitions given that they picked up Jones Jr. Lolohea is a skilled player in his own right. Defensive ends coach John Papuchis will have fun developing the talented defender into something special.

Florida State tapped into the West Coast again as they pulled a player who recorded 88 total tackles (15 for loss) and four sacks in four seasons with Oregon State.

However, he has an opportunity to double his career sack total if he puts the right mindset into developing his skill set. Lolohea could be just as impactful as Jones Jr. due to the fact that he has more collegiate experience.

The coaching staff likes to keep their members on the defensive line fresh to navigate them throughout the season without injuries. I could see a situation where Payton, Jones Jr., Lolohea, and Turner Jr. split reps.
