WR DESTYN HILL AND TE JERRALE POWERS OUT FOR REST OF SPRING

Injuries happen in football all of the time with it being a contact sport, especially during the spring when everyone is getting adjusted to playing football again. This isn't the Tour of Duty conditioning workouts anymore, the pads are being put on.

During the end of Norvell's media session, he provided an injury update where he stated that wide receiver Destyn Hill and tight end Jerrale Powers will be out for the remainder of the spring. This is not the worst possible news in the world.

However, there were fans out there who were excited to see how a player such as Destyn Hill would perform this spring given that he showcased flashes during the 2023 season. There were even some individuals who suggested that he was not a real person until he stepped foot on Florida State's campus.

As for Powers, versatile tight end Jaheim Bell declared for the 2024 NFL Draft. As a result, the Seminoles will have to find the number two and three option alongside veteran Kyle Morlock. Norvell has talked highly about Jerrale Powers in the past. This could hinder his ability to move up the depth chart if he is out for an extended amount of time.

We at ChopChat hope that both players will come back stronger and better than ever from their injuries that they are dealing with.
