Massive June 21st recruiting weekend incoming for the Florida State Seminoles
RANDY'S GOT US!
Yes, I know that Florida State football fans continue to freak out regarding the Seminoles' recruiting efforts when it comes to linebacker recruiting. I can't say that I blame you. However, there is young talent in the room with Blake Nichelson (thanks Darrick Yray), Justin Cryer, and DeMarco Ward.
However, the position group needs to continue stockpiling talent. This is a recruiting cycle in that the Seminoles have gone all in on recruiting highly-touted prospects. They have already secured the likes of four-star linebacker Ethan Pritchard from Seminole High School in Sanford, Florida.
Pinch me, I must be dreaming because now Florida State is trending for four-star Tavion Wallace from Wayne County High School in Jesup, Florida who will be making his decision in July. Wallace has already stated that the Seminoles lead in his recruitment. It looks like linebackers coach Randy Shannon and Florida State need to seal the deal this weekend.
As for four-star Gavin Nix, this recruitment seemed to be going well for the Seminoles at one point. While the IMG Academy standout views Florida State as his "dream school", it does not seem like the Seminoles have gone all in on his recruitment. As a result, he is trending to Miami after a recent official visit.
Overall, if the Seminoles get Wallace and Pritchard in the recruiting class, that would be massive.
