Massive June 21st recruiting weekend incoming for the Florida State Seminoles
TALENTED RB TRENDING TO FSU?
Florida State does not have a running back prospect committed to its recruiting class. However, that could change as four-star prospect Byron Louis from American Heritage High School in Plantation, Florida is making his way to Tallahassee this weekend.
Even though Louis was previously trending to schools such as Ohio State and Miami, the Seminoles have seemed to take the pole position in his recruitment. However, running backs coach David Johnson has to take advantage of the visit.
Johnson already secured the likes of Kameron Davis and Micahi Danzy during the 2024 recruiting cycle. However, it is important to note that Roydell Williams, Lawrance Toafili, and Caziah Holmes will graduate after the 2024 season.
The Seminoles must continue to stack the position group with talent. Defensive backs coach Patrick Surtain Sr. has a great connection with Louis being the former head football coach at American Heritage. I think that relationship could pay dividends for the Seminoles.
