Florida State football's 2025 recruiting class still sits below the top 50 mark in terms of 247Sports Composite rankings. However, the coaching staff is hosting several highly-touted prospects on campus during the month of June that could make Tallahassee their home.

The coaching staff has not secured a commitment from a prospect since four-star defensive end Javion Hilson flipped his pledge from Alabama to Florida State in January. This is a Seminole fan base that wants to see success on the recruiting trail with having a combined 23-4 record over the past two seasons.

Florida State is hosting seven prospects this weekend such as five-star defensive lineman Justus Terry (USC commit), five-star wide receiver Kaliq Lockett, four-star wide receiver Joshua Moore, four-star wide receiver Malik Clark, four-star linebacker Zaydrius Rainey-Sale, four-star cornerback Jaboree Antonie (LSU commit), and four-star safety Jordan Young.

FOUR-STAR WR JOSHUA MOORE

This is a loaded group of talent that could be monitored. In terms of a prospect that could be in place to make Florida State home is four-star wide receiver Joshua Moore from West Broward High School in Pembroke Pines, Florida. Other schools such as Florida, Miami, and Georgia are involved but the Seminoles continue to push in the recruitment. Georgia is worrisome about having a June 21st visit.

FIVE-STAR WR KALIQ LOCKETT

As for five-star wide receiver Kaliq Lockett from Sachse High School in Sachse, Texas, he says that Florida State and wide receivers coach Ron Dugans are high up there in his recruitment. However, a visit with the home-state Texas Longhorns looms next weekend which could be difficult to overcome. However, the Seminoles have put themselves in a great position for a chance at the playmaker.

LB ZAYDRIUS RAINEY-SALE

Florida State already has a linebacker prospect committed to its 2025 recruiting class in four-star Ethan Pritchard from Seminole High School in Sanford, Florida. However, it would like to secure two more prospects at the position. One linebacker to monitor is four-star Zaydrius Rainey-Sale from Bethel High School in Spanaway, Washington.

He was once crystal balled to Florida State before committing to the home-state Washington Huskies. He backed off his pledge when Kalen DeBoer took the job with the Alabama Crimson Tide. However, this is the Seminoles' chance to get themselves back in the recruitment. However, he has an official visit to Washington next weekend so this could be a longshot.
