Important updates on two of the Seminoles' top wide receiver prospects
BROWN III RECEIVES PREDICTION TO UF
Florida State is also going after four-star wide receiver prospect Vernell Brown III from Jones High School in Orlando, Florida. Wide receivers coach Ron Dugans wants to try his best to acquire at least two prospects at the position.
The Seminoles will already have to replace the likes of Keon Coleman and Johnny Wilson this year after they went to the NFL. While Florida State has Alabama's Malik Benson in their rotation, he is a senior and will not be in the garnet and gold during the 2025 season.
Dugans will have to continue stacking talent in the room. It will be a difficult task to acquire four-star Vernell Brown III. His father played with the Gators in the early 2000s. It is always hard to secure legacy recruits from another school.
On Tuesday, Noles247 Contributor Zach Blostein inserted a prediction in favor of Florida with a confidence level of 6 out of 10 for Brown III. He just finished his official visit with the Gators this past weekend. It is important to note that Florida will have a difficult month of November that could have the program searching for answers at the end of the year.
The Seminoles will have their crack at impressing the Orlando native as he is scheduled to officially visit Tallahassee this upcoming weekend.
