Two highly-touted four-star football prospects have been predicted to commit to Florida State.

FOUR-STAR CB GREGORY THOMAS

This expert prediction does not come as a shock given that Thomas currently has four crystal balls in favor of Florida State. The American Heritage High School standout has visited Tallahassee the most out of any school.

It is noteworthy to mention that Florida State defensive backs coach Patrick Surtain Sr. was previously the head football coach at American Heritage High School. This relationship has continued to blossom as Thomas grew as a prospect.

The 6'2" defensive back is a cornerback prospect that the coaching staff likes. Thomas excels in man-to-man coverage where he utilizes his size and length against opposing wide receivers. He would like to visit other schools such as LSU and Miami, but Florida State clearly holds the advantage at the moment.

Florida State loves to use a 4-2-5 defensive scheme where there is quite a bit of defensive backs rotating in and out of the secondary. Thomas would be a nice foundation piece that Surtain Sr. could build upon.
