BAMA TRANSFERS PROGRESSING WELL

Florida State was pretty much the Alabama Crimson Tide transfer portal pipeline after securing running back Roydell Williams, wide receiver Malik Benson, offensive lineman TJ Ferguson, linebacker Shawn Murphy, and cornerback Earl Little Jr.

Norvell alluded to the fact that linebacker Shawn Murphy had his best day of practice. The Seminoles' linebacker unit is largely unproven as veteran DJ Lundy is the only one with extensive collegiate experience. They will have to replace the likes of veterans Kalen DeLoach and Tatum Bethune who graduated after the 2023 season.

Hopefully, Murphy can continue to progress nicely and build confidence in himself as the Seminoles need him to be a pivotal piece in the rotation.

Norvell also mentioned running back Roydell Williams where he stated that he liked what he was seeing from him. I thought Williams would emerge as the starting running back for the Seminoles even though Florida State has a crowded backfield.

It looks like the redshirt senior is starting to capitalize on his opportunities.
