1. One of the Greatest of All-Time
As far as both college and the NFL goes, Warrick Dunn is definitely one of the greatest of all-time. Many young players today look to him for inspiration because he is just that great. No matter who he played for, he was a major offensive weapon who destroyed defenses with his lightning speed.
Per Seminoles.com, he still holds several school records including 22 career 100-yard games, a three-time first team All-ACC, and MVP of the Sugar Bowl. It may be a long time before some of those records are broken.
In the NFL, he was a three-time Pro Bowler (one in his rookie season) and the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in 1997. Throughout his professional career, he was a top offensive weapon for both the Buccaneers and Falcons.
Warrick Dunn set the bar high for what a successful athlete is supposed to be. Living his dream while making a difference in the world by helping others has made everything worthwhile. Florida State will always be honored to have had such an extraordinary athlete on and off the field. A true gem he is for the College Football Hall of Fame!
