HYKEEM WILLIAMS

Hykeem Williams was a former five-star prospect in the 2023 recruiting cycle. Fans were excited to see the talented pass catcher go to work. During last spring, many of the media members were raving about the talent of four-star wide receiver prospect Vandrevius Jacobs.

While Jacobs was a talented option, it seemed to take Williams a bit longer to get acclimated to the collegiate game. The Stranahan High School standout was going through the motions in his first season. It is typical for true freshmen to go through learning curves.

Unfortunately, Williams' 2023 campaign was cut short due to a lower-body injury. Even though the Orange Bowl versus Georgia was a blowout, it was great to see the former five-star prospect get back onto the football field.

While he only recorded five receptions for 80 yards and one touchdown, he has a prime opportunity to receive a higher volume of snaps due to Johnny Wilson and Keon Coleman heading to the NFL. Could this be Williams' opportunity to shine?
