FSU football: Top superlatives for 2024 recruiting class

Most Underrated-Jayden Parrish
FSU linebacker signee Jayden Parrish is ranked as the No. 697 player and No. 61 linebacker nationally. There are nowhere near 60 linebackers better than Parrish. He lists at 6'1" and 210 pounds and had insane production in high school. Parrish had 153 tackles (72 solo) and four sacks as a junior. He also played running back. As a senior, he played both ways, totaling 68 tackles (10 tackles for a loss), four sacks, and an interception. He scored eight rushing touchdowns on offense. He fits exactly what Randy Shannon wants in a linebacker and will likely find production early since he enrolled early. He reminds me of another player Shannon recruited out of high school, Tatum Bethune. Bethune had 57 tackles, seven tackles for a loss, 2.5 sacks, and an interception in the 2020 COVID season (10 games) as a sophomore. He increased that production to 108 tackles, 5.5 tackles for a loss, two sacks, and two interceptions. It wouldn't surprise me to see Parrish become productive in the same manner, and he ranked even higher than Bethune out of high school.
