FSU football: Top remaining portal needs as spring semester begins

FSU football coaches have been working to secure important transfer portal targets before the start of the 2024 spring semester. The Noles suffered quite a bit of attrition from the roster, with several players declaring for the 2024 NFL Draft and others entering the transfer portal for other opportunities. FSU signed 22 outstanding players from the high school ranks, and 11 of those will be enrolled this spring. FSU coaches usually emphasize players from the transfer portal enrolling in the spring semester as well. FSU has added six additions from the transfer portal thus far, and we should likely expect a handful more before the drop-add period for the spring semester ends. Here are the positions they have addressed so far:

All these guys fit a specific roster need, and everyone except DJ Uiaglalelei has more than one year of eligibility remaining. However, that's all that's needed with Brock Glenn and Luke Kromenhoek in the fold. These additions are a great start, but FSU will need to continue addressing holes on the roster. Here are some important areas to address as the spring semester begins.
