Notre Dame

The Noles will travel to Notre Dame in early November for a prime-time game. The Fighting Irish will have a bye week before facing the Noles, with FSU coming off a game against North Carolina in the week prior. They'll have a familiar face at quarterback, former Duke QB Riley Leonard, who the Noles knocked out of their game last year. Notre Dame has talent at its skill positions but had to replace most of its offensive line, though it's an area they always recruit well.

Defensively, Notre Dame ranked No. 5 via FEI advanced metrics last year, and it'll be former Miami head coach Al Golden's second season in South Bend. They have some holes to fill, but their new players should be integrated into the system by then. A team's depth usually comes into play later in the year, and which team is the healthiest will likely be a huge factor. Notre Dame will arguably be the most talented team the Noles will face in 2024.
