FSU football will face the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in the 2024 season opener in Dublin, Ireland. FSU maintains a -10 or -11 betting points spread with a 55.5 over/under. Those odds decreased from the -13.5 opening line. Some fans likely saw what FSU lost to the NFL Draft and the score from the Orange Bowl against Georgia after Georgia Tech played the Bulldogs in a closer game to end the season(with GT playing having all of their starters). Georgia Tech returns several important players to its offense, including the starting quarterback, running back, and much of the offensive line that led the ACC in rushing last year. However, much of that production came against most of the weaker teams in the ACC.

Georgia Tech struggled against Clemson and Miami. They had seven points and were losing by 35 points as the fourth quarter started in Death Valley. Georgia Tech had 17 points with less than a minute to go before Mario Cristobal made the dumbest call all season to not go into victory formation and take a knee to end the game.
