FSU football: Top 5 easiest games on 2024 schedule
By Kelvin Hunt
No. 3 Boston College
Boston College facing FSU hasn't been a good look for the Eagles in quite some time. They gave the Noles a scare last season when the Noles traveled northeast with the threat of a Hurricane, and half of the team was sick. FSU built a huge lead and relaxed, coupled with multiple turnovers, making the game way closer on the scoreboard than it should have been. Several FSU players who played in that game will have constant reminders of it. Nevertheless, Boston College has a new coaching staff after the departure of Jeff Hafley to the NFL.
The Eagles will return Thomas Castellanos and a few transfers(including former FSU running back Treshaun Ward) but will have major holes on both sides. It will also be the first game of the season for Boston College, as they travel to Tallahassee for a game in primetime, just as they did in 2022. FSU destroyed Boston College that year. I'm sure they will have some wrinkles thrown in since they'll have all offseason to prepare for the season opener. However, there's a reason FSU is a double-digit betting favorite right now.
