DJ Lundy-High School

Wait, another high school player not highly ranked out of high school who's become a major contributor at FSU? Look no further than DJ Lundy, the No. 967 player nationally and the No. 57 athlete. Lundy appeared in seven games as a freshman in the 2020 COVID-shortened season. He played in all 12 games with 11 starts as a sophomore, recording 69 tackles, five tackles for a loss, one sack, and two pass breakups. His role was reduced after the arrival of Tatum Bethune in 2022, but Lundy was still a major contributor. He tallied over 100 tackles, 11 tackles for a loss, 3.5 sacks, and contributed in the running game as a fullback. Lundy earned Honorable Mention All-ACC honors in 2023 and will be a starter for the Noles in 2024 as a linebacker.
