Shyheim Brown-High School

Shyheim Brown is a prime example of player development. Brown ranked as the No. 991 player nationally and the No. 104 linebacker in high school. It wasn't until former FSU great Brian Allen contacted FSU coaches with co-signage on Brown that he earned a scholarship at FSU. Brown redshirted in 2021 after appearing in three games. He appeared in all 13 games with two starts in 2022, including the game-winning extra point block against LSU in the season opener. He was an honorable mention Freshman All-American by College Football News. Brown started all 14 games in 2023, with 53 tackles, one interception, one fumble recovery, four pass breakups, and two QB hurries. Brown was Third Team All-ACC and will be a starter for the Noles at safety in 2024.
