Joshua Farmer-High School

Joshua Farmer was the first high school recruit to commit to Mike Norvell in his first full recruiting season. Farmer was a three-star, weighing 250 pounds, and now lists at 318 pounds. He ranked No. 649 nationally and was the No. 79 defensive lineman. Farmer came on the scene after Fabien Lovett went down with an injury early in the 2022 season. He appeared in all 13 games, tallying 15 tackles, six for a loss, two sacks, and one QB hurry. He was a Freshman Honorable Mention All-American by College Football News. Farmer started 13 games in 2023, tallying 32 tackles, seven for a loss, five sacks, two QB hurries, two pass breakups, and one forced fumble. He was Second Team All-ACC and will be a starter in 2024 with the potential to be an early draft pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
