All the other listed wins were important, but if FSU had lost to the 2023 Clemson team? They wouldn't have been in the conversation for a College Football Playoff spot. The perception of the program would be they can't get over that hump, even in a "down" year for Clemson.

FSU overcame major adversity in this game in a hostile environment.
