Johnny Wilson

The No. 5 player on the list is transfer Arizona State wide receiver Johnny Wilson. Wilson joined FSU in the 2022 spring semester and made an immediate impact upon his arrival. Wilson led FSU receivers in receptions (43), receiving yards (897), and touchdowns (5) in 2022. Wilson was a major reason FSU won 10 games in 2022, with monster games against Louisville, Georgia Tech, and the bowl game against Oklahoma. He returned to FSU in 2023 and picked up where he left off in 2022. He had 100+ yards games in two of his first three games in 2023. Wilson battled injuries in 2023, missing three games, but was second on the team in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns to Keon Coleman.

Wilson was a second-team All-ACC selection in 2022 and a third-team selection in 2023. Wilson was a big part of improving an FSU wide receiver unit, which was among the worst in 2021. Wilson was a sixth-round draft pick of the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2024 NFL Draft.
