Dillan Gibbons

The No. 7 player on this list is Notre Dame offensive lineman Dillan Gibbons. Gibbons was not a starter at FSU and had limited experience. FSU football coaches prefer to have their portal additions to enroll in the spring semester. However, Gibbons didn't join the program until the summer of 2021. That meant he had to learn the offense quickly if he wanted to make an impact in the 2021 season. The fact he didn't have much experience and didn't enroll early dampened expectations.

However, not only did Gibbons make an impact, but he started 11 games in 2021 and was an All-ACC Honorable Mention selection. He returned to FSU in 2022 and started all 13 games, earning First Team All-ACC honors. He was one of the biggest reasons FSU had a killer rushing attack, leading the way for Trey Benson. Gibbon's addition helped improve a much-maligned FSU offensive line and helped bring them back to respectability.
