THE REUNION OF FARMER AND JACKSON AT DT

Florida State will be missing some crucial pieces on the defensive line with redshirt senior defensive tackle Fabien Lovett Sr., redshirt junior defensive tackle Malcolm Ray, and redshirt junior defensive end Jared Verse.

However, it certainly helps when the defensive trenches have redshirt senior Braden Fiske, junior Darrell Jackson Jr., redshirt sophomore Joshua Farmer, and redshirt sophomore Patrick Payton. That is a formidable unit that the Seminoles can put out there against Georgia.

The Seminoles return junior defensive tackle Darrell Jackson Jr., who transferred to the Seminoles this past offseason to care for his ailing mother. However, the NCAA denied his waiver request to play this season due to the two-time transfer rule. Now that the semester is over, Jackson Jr. will be eligible to play (plus the NCAA suddenly changed their two-time transfer rule temporarily...).

Both Farmer and Jackson Jr. will finally have the opportunity to play collegiate football together. The Gadsden County High School teammates will have a chance to show what they are made of.

We will see if Farmer plays in the game since he shared on his Instagram story from a while back of him having surgery.
