FSU football: Rece Davis and talking heads continue to make excuses

FSU football was sabotaged by ESPN talking heads like Kirk Herbstreit and Rece Davis well before Jordan Travis got hurt against North Alabama. It's proven. I have the receipts and all, but for some reason people like Herbstreit and Davis continue to try to explain themselves and make excuses. Davis posted a video on his social media account that was contradictory. He says he and others got criticism they didn't feel was warranted, so they dismissed it and didn't address it. However, how many times has Kirk Herbstreit posted on social media or did interviews trying to defend what he did? Why did Davis feel the need to put out a video if he didn't feel the need to explain himself and continue to make excuses?

I can tell you why. Notice how Rece Davis goes back and tries to reiterate why FSU got left out of the College Football Playoff. He says it was because Jordan Travis got hurt, but that's not the real reason. The committee's actions contradict that, not to mention how he and Kirk Herbstreit were already hinting at FSU getting jumped by a Texas or Alabama before Jordan Travis got hurt. I think ESPN may have put out the word they need to get things on video with the Jordan Travis getting hurt narrative why they got left out of the College Football Playoff.

Remember, FSU has filed a lawsuit against the ACC, and the Florida Attorney General has opened an investigation into that process. If there's evidence of collusion, ESPN needs some evidence to try and offset it to muddle the waters. It's almost like they believe if they say it enough, people will believe it, despite what happened. Why FSU got left out of the College Football Playoff was because ESPN wanted/needed an SEC team to be in the final four rankings. That's the only explanation that makes sense with how the teams got seeded.
