FSU football fans are waiting for the next move in the transfer portal as the Seminoles have only acquired one transfer prospect in Georgia sophomore defensive end Marvin Jones Jr.

Fans are beginning to have worries with the lack of transfer portal acquisitions, which I am not sure why considering head football coach Mike Norvell does a tremendous job with acquiring talent in the portal.

The biggest discussion in the transfer portal among the fan base has to be centered around the quarterback position. The most likely options are Washington State's Cameron Ward and Oregon State's DJ Uiagalelei.

It was a matter of time before one of them was bound to make their decision. On Sunday night, 247Sports' National College Football Writer Chris Hummer reported that Cameron Ward is expected to decide in the next few days.

Ward has taken official visits to Florida State and the arch-rival Miami Hurricanes. While both schools feel confident in landing his services, Miami might be down to their last transfer quarterback target as Kansas State's Will Howard has been trending to the USC Trojans.

However, it should be known that Ward is such a dynamic weapon that has showcased his ability to be a game changer with whichever university he decides to go to. During the 2023 season, he completed 323 of his 485 passes (66.6%) for 3,735 yards and 25 touchdowns with only seven interceptions. He also had eight rushing touchdowns.

Head football coach Mike Norvell and quarterbacks coach Tony Tokarz molded redshirt senior signal-caller Jordan Travis into someone who finished fifth in the Heisman Trophy voting.

All in all, regardless of whether Ward chooses Florida State or another institution, he will be an incredible asset to the offense and an absolute nightmare for opposing defenses if he lives up to his top-ten transfer portal ranking.
