FSU football is now listed as a 19-point underdog versus the Georgia Bulldogs in the Orange Bowl. This is mainly due to the Seminoles having several opt-outs, which include players declaring for the 2024 NFL Draft. The Georgia Bulldogs have not been as public when it comes to announcing their player's intentions for the bowl game.

Most individuals are not giving the Seminoles a realistic chance to win this football game, which is crazy considering the program has won 19 straight games. However, this is certainly a new realm of reality after the College Football Playoff committee shockingly left the undefeated ACC champion Florida State Seminoles out of the playoff.

Nonetheless, head football coach Mike Norvell will prepare his players for the challenge. While they might be undermanned (I would not advise looking at the projected depth chart), some of the players are grateful for their opportunity and have confidence in the Seminoles' ability to be successful.

As mentioned previously, several players on Florida State's roster have opted out of the bowl game. One notable piece is redshirt junior quarterback Tate Rodemaker, who announced on Christmas Day that he would be entering the transfer portal. This placed the true freshman signal caller Brock Glenn as the starting quarterback, who had just 55 passing yards in the ACC Championship Game versus Louisville.

Glenn emphasized confidence in his football team by making the following statement to media members on Wednesday morning:

""We are all excited about the opportunity and we're here to win this game. We are all pumped up and here to work so we are ready to go win this thing.""

You have to love the young quarterback's mindset of how he is approaching this contest. The Seminoles' offense will be without the following players:

Trey Benson, Lawrance Toafili, Rodney Hill, CJ Campbell Jr, Keon Coleman, Johnny Wilson, Jaheim Bell, Markeston Douglas, Thomas Shrader, and Bless Harris.

The talented young quarterback will have his work cut out for him against a Bulldogs defense that will be aggressive for much of the afternoon.
