FSU football: Post-spring camp power rankings for all ACC teams
By Kelvin Hunt
No. 1
FSU Seminoles
FSU went 13-0 and the combination of high school and transfer portal recruiting is the best in the ACC. There's a difference in how Mike Norvell does it and everyone else in the league. It's why the Noles closed the gap on Clemson, Miami, and others when they were at rock bottom only a few seasons ago. FSU will have an experienced QB, offensive line, running back room, and one of the best defensive lines and best secondary's in the nation.
The only real question is at linebacker, but FSU has experience with DJ Lundy and added some guys from the transfer portal to couple with some talented young players. FSU opens the season against Georgia Tech, but it should be smooth sailing until they travel to SMU. If they get past the Mustangs, they'll host Clemson before traveling to Duke and Miami. As I mentioned, FSU will be betting favorites in nearly every game except the road game against Notre Dame. It should be another great season for FSU football.
